Watch the First Trailer for Star-Studded Murder Mystery ‘Knives Out’

Rian Johnson may have lost a few fans after his divisive take on Star Wars with The Last Jedi, but he’ll no doubt win them all back with his newest effort, Knives Out.

The murder mystery, which Johnson both wrote and directed, features an absolutely stacked cast who all appear to be having the time of their lives in the film’s recently-released trailer. Leading the way is Daniel Craig, who portrays an unusual detective with an even more unusual accent. He and his fellow detective (LaKeith Stanfield) have been sent to investigate the death of an eccentric and wealthy family’s patriarch (Christopher Plummer), who was killed during his 85th birthday party. Everyone who was present at the party is a suspect, including Chris Evans, Jamie Lee Curtis, Toni Collette, Don Johnson, Michael Shannon, Ana De Armas, and Katherine Langford.

The film looks to be a classic whodunnit, but since this is Johnson we’re talking about here, we’re definitely expecting a few unorthodox twists. This is, after all, the guy who put a telekinetic kid in Looper and had Luke Skywalker milk an alien sea cow in The Last Jedi, so pretty much everything is on the table for this one.

You’ll be able to solve the mystery for yourself when Knives Out arrives in theaters on Nov. 27.

In recent years, Gibson has focused...
