Rocky IV is memorable for a lot of things, like Sylvester Stallone single-handedly bringing about the fall of the Soviet Union. And one of the most iconic scenes of the film is the boxing match between Dolph Lundgren’s Ivan Drago and Carl Weathers’ Apollo Creed. The match ended in Creed’s demise, setting Rocky on the path to revenge. But now Apollo is back for a rematch against his old rival — on Instagram of all places.
Lundgren and Weathers recently staged a Rocky IV reunion at Gold’s Gym in Venice Beach, CA, where the two actors apparently shared a workout. Lundgren shared a photo of the duo to his Instagram account with each of the action stars posing with his fist up, ready to rumble. “Rematch at Gold’s Gym Venice,” Lundgren captioned the photo. “Apollo’s looking dangerous.”

Both Lundgren, 61, and Weathers, 71, have experienced career resurgences as of late with several high-profile projects. Lundgren reprised his role as Ivan Drago and last year’s Creed II, while also appearing as King Nereus in the superhero blockbuster Aquaman. Weathers, meanwhile, voiced Combat Carl in this year’s Toy Story 4 and is set to star in the upcoming live-action Star Wars series The Mandalorian as bounty hunter guild leader Greef Carga.
